Non-Executive Director

Slough Children First provides children social services within Slough – a Borough with the highest proportion of young people in the country and a wide range of strengths and challenges.  We are a company wholly owned by Slough Borough Council and run by an effective, small Board.    

We are looking for a new person to join the Board in April when a committed local member reaches the end of their term of office.  

We need someone with the skills and experience to help lead a complex organisation with turnover of £43m last year and over 350 staff.  More importantly we are looking for someone who cares about improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people in Slough.  This may be as local resident, as someone with lived or family experience of the care system or expressed in other ways.
